I think we can all agree that declassifying information just to "find corruption" is seriously wrong.
An impeachable offense ? I'm definitely not a lawyer well-versed in impeachment law, but it's damn close, if not an actual impeachable offense.
Article II...Section 4.
The President, Vice President and all civil officers of the United States, shall be removed from office on impeachment for, and conviction of, treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors.

The President has total authority over classified information. He can declassify whatever he wants, whenever he wants, for whatever reason he wants.
That being said, impeachment is entirely up to Congress. That power is totally vested to them and they can wield it as they choose fit. High crimes and misdemeanors is pretty broad.

No need for declassification to find corruption.
But the corruption has to exist for them to be able to find it.
