I'm in NV3, and this is a seat we need to keep, especially considering the Republitard is a MAGAfanatic.
Our candidate is a super-genuine problem solver, with a laser focus on providing opportunity in the form of education to ALL Americans. Her name is Susie Lee, and I encourage anybody who can to please increase her chances of success.
I happen to teach down in Mohave County Arizona on Fridays, and right across the river (Colorado) lies the southern tip of NV district 3, where I will be knocking on doors after finishing a three-hour class in U.S. History.
Saturday and/or Sunday, I will be doing the same here in Boulder City, NV, where I reside.
I am a busy man. I work three different part-time jobs, including as an adjunct professor of history at NV State and down at Mohave Community. I also work as a freelance writer. Nevertheless, I find it of paramount importance that I make time to do whatever I can to ensure our blue wave crashes as long and wide as possible on the sixth of November.
Will it be uncomfortable walking around in the 115 degrees we get down in Laughlin this time of year? Will it mean less time I have to focus on my many other responsibilities? Is it a sacrifice? Yes, to all of the above, but it is SO SO SO SO worth every bead of sweat and graded paper postponed.
I was born 50 years ago this December, so I missed out on all the drama of my birth year. I have seen my country go through many ups and downs over the years I've been aware. But I can say with zero hesitation that I have never been alive for such a momentous midterm.
I would never consciously try to guilt anybody to get involved, but please ... GET FUCKING INVOLVED. Please. Every little knock on a door reminds people that they have a voice.
This could not be more important. As a student of history I really feel like our Republic stands at a precipice, and if we do not pull it back in November with a Congress willing to check a dictator, this glorious experiment in constitutional democracy may fail. And that would be the greatest light ever extinguished since our distant ancestors first mastered fire.
Gee. Ohh. Tee. Mudderfuggin Vee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
