it is happening in the continental U.S. People from other states can help when the Trump squad inevitably fails. This afternoon his disaster people were bragging about having 80,000 liters of water stockpiled for the emergency . . . for the 20 million people who will be affected.

Puerto Rico had challenges that required a competent response to overcome. They failed miserably.

This one is a great deal more straightforward. You can evacuate people away from the impact and bring in supplies by truck from three directions. It may impact a million people but there are 10s of millions of people within a 500 mile radius that will have intact infrastructure and can assist. Hell, millions of them will have excess supplies of their own that they just bought that can be thrown on a truck and donated.

Even an incompetent administration should be able to get this one right.
