Alyssa Milano - 'Now This' PSA on Brett Kavanaugh.

We know who Kavanaugh is because time and time again he’s shown us. We need the @SenateDems to do everything they can to stop him. Kavanaugh was hand picked by the Federalist Society to further an agenda based on hurtful, UnAmerican, ideology.

2. I called 5 senators again today.

This time I said there should be NO SCOTUS nominee as long as the fake prez is being investigated, then I told them that he hasn't answers questions clearly about abortion, repealing the ACA and the fact that HE LIED TO THE SENATE and there is proof and should not even be a judge. The staffers were very nice to me. I keep using different peoples' cell phones and I get different addresses from Zillow Homes for Sale listings in their specific states since they never check (it has worked for hundreds of calls I have made since a year ago) but I give the addresses if they ask if I am a constituent. I have been calling and when I speak with an actual person and not a machine they don't even ask if I am a constituent any more. I don't know why they don't now.
RESISTANCE WORKS! Call (202)224-3121 for the DC Offices directory. THANKS!

Maybe they don't have time to ask, now.

Wish the damned 'news' would look into how many KavaNO! calls that senators are getting.

Thank you for your persistent resistance!

We still have a window for a few more days. This travesty deserves fighting.

6. I find that the MSM is not very good at reporting

Resistance efforts. They didn't show the hundreds of protests two weeks ago and never announce when there are any planned. How are people supposed to get inspired and feel bolstered? It has been very frustrating for me. The only protests they show are ones like the Women's March and March For Our Lives and a few protests outside the W House. You would think that MSNBC would announce something but theynever, ever do. It SUCKS! I guess someone has to shoot someone else for it to make the news these days. Once again the MSM is after ratings $$$ (they DID show the moron's empty stage and podium for 20 min during his campaign waiting for the king of ratings to appear over and over and wouldn't give Hillary 5 min to discuss issues). Pathetic! They are part of the reason he got elected.

8. Have you written or called MSNBC or any MSM for that matter?

You know BP, what would happen if as many voices complained to the MSM as complain to senators and congresspeople? I wonder if they are afraid of being labelled as "librul fake news". Well, they already are, so they need to suck it up and deal responsibly.

9. I have called MSNBC in the past.

I started calling over 6 months ago when they and CNN aired one of his rallies for over an hour on the weekend. I didn't want a repeat of the 2016 disaster and I posted that others on DU should call too and everyone said I was being an alarmist. I have written emails to the various anchors too for 1 1/2 years telling them about large protests and it doesn't seem to do much good. I am not giving up though since anger drives me and the fact that I am a stubborn liberal. Since those two networks aren't airing his rallies much any more, at least in their entirety, perhaps my efforts and similar actions by others have done some good after all.

10. I honestly think maybe resistance efforts would be better spent contacting the MSM

It all goes back to who controls the narrative. It feels like we barely get to skim the narrative and give it some light editing. Have you looked into any groups who are dedicated to pushing media in the right direction? If not, there ought to be. You've got me thinking now!

11. No, I don't know of any who are doing that.

The groups that organize the protests contact the media ahead of time (MoveOn, Indivisible and many others). There definitely needs to be better media PR. We need someone like the Yippies (Hoffman and Rubin in the 60s). Their goal was PR and getting attention for their cause.

Lots of antics of GOPers and twitler seem to push Kavanaugh out of the spotlight.

Reminder: SCOTUS appointments are for life. The Kavanaugh appointment helps solidify the demonstrably distorted GOPer view of _which_ lives matter.

Now is the time for noisy opposition.
