Residents of Georgia: some models have Florence heading our way.

There is a high pressure system at a very high altitude over northern North America that may head south, preventing the hurricane from tracking into NC, VA, etc. It may track WSW across the shores and barrier islands and track through Georgia, but at reduced intensity.

Plan as if the worst could happen!

Look at www.windy.com on Thursday, Friday, Saturday.

Thanks, Ilsa. I'm about 80 miles north of Atlanta, but definitely could be affected. Glorfindel Sep 2018 #1
