He kills the intruder.
Then it turns out that the woman breaking and entering into his appartment was a cop.

(6,936 posts)The most serious as COP KILLER. I can hear it now,the cop was merely rattling doorknobs to make 100% sure her neighbors were safe. Then this black guy comes out of the shadows to BRUTALLY murder the officer for doing her job.
Quick jury trial and he's doing life without the possibility of parole.

(82,849 posts)Everyone within the boundaries of the United States has to be strapped and ready to shoot to kill at all times in all situations.
If you're a member of the NRA, please reconsider your membership. The NRA is currently acting like a terrorist organization, having strayed far, far away from any responsible advocacy or programming.

(9,350 posts)It likely still would have ended with Botham Jean being shot dead. If Jean had pulled out a gun and been shot, or pulled out a gun, shot at, and missed the cop and then was shot to death by the cop it likely would have been easier for supporters of the cop to say it was a justified shooting.
People on the right and people like Loesch would then likely have claimed that Jean was in the wrong because he should have just listened to the cop and then taken his complaints to the police station after being arrested. How many times have Dana Loesch and others on the right defended blacks and other minorities when cops have unlawfully entered their homes? A few years ago there was a case in which a police officer killed a man in his own home after the man refused to cooperate with police when the came to his home based on a false report of a medical emergency. Did Loesch and the right defend that man?
