These non voters on All In are on my last nerve

Newsflash you aren't the center of the universe. The world doesn't revolve around you. I am so sick of hearing about how you weren't inspired. Every gay person in wide swaths of this country will be a third class citizen for at least the next 30 years because you weren't inspired. Every woman of child bearing age in wide swaths of this country will have no right to or ability to get an abortion for the next 30 years because you weren't inspired. For the next 30 years every single, solitary progressive change made by Congress will be overruled by SCOTUS because you weren't inspired. We have children in cages because you weren't inspired. People in Puerto Rico died because you weren't inspired. If after all of this you still think it isn't worth voting then frankly I really don't care what you think. I guarantee that if we give these self centered fools everything they ask for today, there will be a new list tomorrow and the next day and the day after that. And once they get told no, it will be well I won't vote.

If it was between two republicans, one being a John McCain or Mitt Romney type, and one being a Ted Cruz type, you’re damned right I’d vote for the former. I’d dread the next four years, but I would always remember it could be even worse.
The only two people in the world that would keep me from the polls might be a Cruz vs. Trump—especially before I had a chance to experience the Trump presidency. Dominionism or Trumpism—not a choice I’m capable of making.

I’m tired of this lesser of two evils bullshit. There is no comparison between any democrat and republican. None.
Democrats care about people, Republicans care about corporations period end of story. Politics is an ugly business. Candidates are not perfect. But most if you listen to them tell us what they stand for. I can listen to Obama all day long, Hillary was not as pleasant to listen to, but her message was clear she cared about us. Trump had a message of fear and hate. It’s as simple as that...
If you want a canidate with the voice of an angel who will tell you exactly what you want to hear get ready for more years of republican rule. These people need to get off their asses and vote it really is not that hard!

When Election Day 2016 came, everyone who didn’t vote by mail left work to vote. When they guys came back, one of them confessed that he’d voted but did not vote for president because...wait for it...he didn’t like either candidate. Wed Sep 12, 2018, 11:49 PM

The same sorts of middle to upper-middle class of people in the 80s were Yuppies for whom money was the only important thing. The Bobos who emerged in the nineties added the bohemian to the bourgeois, creativity and appearing anti-establishment became just as important. The Yuppies wanted to be stockbrokers, now they want to work in tech companies where they can wear T-shirts and sneakers and the break rooms are filled with toys and balloons, or sell artisanal bacon-kale flavored mayonnaise in little bottles that sell for $20.

Who's always asked where they get their inspiration from? Artists and fashion designers, writers. Creatives. Everyone wants to be creative now. Having to be inspired to VOTE? Do you have to be inspired before you renew your drivers license? Do you have to be inspired before you do your taxes? Do you have to be inspired before you take a shit in the morning? These people. Politicians have many obligations to qualify for office and to earn your vote, but guess what?

Entertaining you isn't among them.

This isn't a rock concert, it's a solemn obligation to use your ability, as a citizen, to evaluate someone asking for your vote and then vote for the one who best reflects your needs and the needs of the country.
