Kirk loses his memory and wakes up thinking he's a god named Kirok. He believes he can use his powers to divert an asteroid away from the planet he's on. Everybody on the planet was worshiping him until the asteroid actually was about to hit and they realized he was full of shit.

But I thought I had seen every Star Trek episode, either as the original or as a rerun, at least 5 times. Don’t remember that one. Thanks for the post and the feedback.
