New York Post:The revelations come five days since the mailer paid by the state Democratic Party hit 7,000 mailboxes in Jewish neighborhoods.
Cuomo has adamantly denied he had anything to do with the smear.
But sources said one of his longtime confidants was deeply involved.
Which why I voted against Cuomo and the entire NYS Democratic Party-endorsed slate. There was no way a "rogue" operative commissioned, approved, printed and mailed this without the Cuomo campaign knowing.

Hopefully some good will come out of this primary battle. Not least, hopefully the Democrats win the state senate majority with a united caucus determined to implement progressive policy. It has struck me as so odd that Republicans have maintained such control over the New York state senate. The gerrymander that enables this is ridiculous, with underpopulated Republican districts. Hopefully there are good districts for 2022.

(94,600 posts)The 2012 redistricting was carried out by agreement with the Republican Senate Leader (now convicted for corruption) and the Democratic Assembly Leader (now convicted for corruption) and Governor Cuomo. It set up generally non-partisan Congressional lines, while allowing the Senate and Assembly to gerrymander their own districts.
