“Those deaths are nobody’s fault. It’s just what happened.” I truly hope Puerto Rican’s—and in fact all American’s—remember this terrible take from @SpeakerRyan and the @GOP. Utterly
shameful.

Paul Ryan: There's no reason to dispute that 3,000 died in Puerto Rico, but those deaths are nobody's fault, "it's just what happened."

8. Sure, measles can kill but it's just what happens. Can't blame people who don't vaccinate.

They didn't contribute to the epidemic.

Just because he lit the match and threw it on the dry grass doesn't mean he started the fire. It's just what happens.

Sure, he grabbed her by the hooha but you can't call that sexual assault. It's just what happens.

You can't claim racism just because they have on white hoods and robes while burning a cross. It's laundry day and that's just what happens.

People get sick and die from a lack of food or clean water, that's just what happens. Can't blame the hurricane or the lack of response. It's just what happens.

Puerto Rico is an island. Islands are surrounded by water. Islands are isolated. Puerto Rico is isolated from the rest of the world. You can't see Russia from Puerto Rico. It's just what happens.
