To plead guilty of conspiracy you would have to ge guilty of conspiracy.
Gee whiz, I wonder who he conspired with?
Whoever was it that Paul Manafort conspired with.? Hmmm.
If we had any inkling who he conspired with. Just a notion perhaps.
He's pleading guilty this morning. In Federal Court. Of CONPIRACY against the United States.
Why, he conspired against the US. With someone, or something.
Who ever could it be?

(54,770 posts)I don't think Manafort is a key to taking trump down, other than more evidence -- as if we needed it -- that trump surrounds himself with crooks, racists, fools, traitors, and likely worse.
Bigly.
I think Manafort sang on it all.
I think he sang so sweetly that even his previous convictions may not cost him decades in Gaol.
I think he sang a big one, whopper, a show stopper.

What specifically do you think he sang about, related to trump? Again, hiring crooks like Manafort should be damning enough, but that won't bring trump down.

(2,807 posts)What's in this Prosecutor's Information will not bring down Individual-1.
I am speculating of course.
But the fact is that nothing in today's Information was to be in his upcoming trial. Everything in this hearing is brand f*cking new.
I would submit that that is extremely unusual. To plead guilty of Conspiracy against the United States which he was only charged with today. And also pleading guilty to Obstruction of Justice , a new charge...well I find that very intriguing.
Again, I am speculating. I may indeed be wrong. My gut tells me there's more going on than what's in today's paper work.

(54,770 posts)to the election? Not as sure about that.
Even the obstruction of justice charge is not related to trump. I believe the mere fact trump is associated with all these crooks and traitors is enough to remove him from office, but apparently GOPers don't agree.

(94,624 posts)I think we all knew this 18 months ago. This is indeed old news.
Why would he plead guilty to these new charges today? Having been convicted of numerous felonies 6 weeks ago. Before he is even sentenced for those.
I think it something bigger.
Msnagory was Trump campaign manager when the collusion was taking place.i
