He would only get in the way and hinder rescue efforts, for which DU would criticize him. He's doing the right thing by staying away and waiting until things settle down.

But there are people in FEMA who do, and they're the ones who are advising the White House. Plus there's the fact that we are a purple state that voted for Trump and he will do the "right thing" if only for the wrong reasons.
