environmentally when these two things mix. If you have ever been near one of these Hog Manure Ponds,well say no more. Hydrogen Sulfide ring a bell. Now mix that with Fly Ash which is super Toxic for not only humans,but to all Aquatic life in any river or stream.

Once this Concoction hits the Drinking Water Sources,it will make Flint Michigan Water seem as pure as spring water. Going to take years to clean up this one.

The majority of displaced ash was collected in a ditch and haul road that surrounds the landfill and is on plant property, the company said.

Coal ash is non-hazardous, and the company does not believe this incident poses a risk to public health or the environment,” the release said. The company is conducting environmental sampling as well.

That's one of the most irresponsible blanket statements I've read in many years about coal ash, with which I have plenty of experience. They and the NC Republicans will cover up all these environmental hazards and use their usual "nothing to see here folks" reply.
