I have had the great honor of deploying on Search and Rescue missions to 9/11, Katrina, Haiti and others.
I am continually amazed by the furry members of our team. They are the most disciplined and well behaved dogs I have ever met.
And props to their handlers. It takes a ton of work and dedication to get them trained and certified.
My team is out there right now without me. We have 6 people to fill two of my positions. I deferred to some of the other guys since my life is complicated these days. It feels weird to be back at home while they are out there but keep them in your thoughts.
