GOP OK W/Trump Wrecking US Government. Want To Leave Dems W/Unfixable Wreckage.

Everything the GOP is doing down to the state level is meant to sabotage government in such a way that even if the Democrats win back power they will not be able to repair the damage. That way the Repubs and their allies can blame do nothing government and get back power so they can dismantle even more.

They will obstruct the Democrats at every turn like they did Obama. Metaphorically they will disable and destroy the legislative and institutional "fire engines" and "ambulances" and "emergency measures" to restore what is left. Kavanugh and Grouch are on the Supreme Court to help find laws and measures the Democrats might pass to be unconstitutional even if they CLEARLY ARE NOT.

Voting GOP is personal and national suicide. IT IS NOT TRUMP WHO IS INSANE IT IS THE GOP ITSELF. The GIP has beamed the "alien monster party" just like the monster in the movie "Alien".

Corporate welfare is fine and dandy, we have billions of dollars we can give to farmers because of Trump's tariffs.

Gerrymandering, voter suppression, voter machines rigged, and yes, packing the courts.

I also read an article about how the "reich" encouraged White Supremacists to go into law enforcement but the simple act of kneeling for the national anthem to protest this is beaten down.

The M$M isn't given enough blame for how we got here. The M$M enabled this, was complicit in electing Trump.
Democratic candidates are being asked if they support Nancy Pelosi for House Speaker because the M$M has made Pelosi into some terrible person to avoid like the plague. What did Pelosi ever do to be looked upon with so much scorn when in fact she was one of the best Speakers in our history. The M$M enabled it. Instead of asking Democratic candidates if they will support Pelosi, reporters should be asking Republican candidates what is so bad about Pelosi?

than it is to cut them. (Part of the reason Republicans were so opposed to Obamacare was the surcharge on the wealthiest Americans to pay for much of it)

Just like it's a lot harder to cut military spending than it is to increase it - back when W was president, they had a devil of a time cutting an EXTRA engine for the new F-35, even though the Pentagon itself said the engine was not needed nor was it necessary. (Leaving out the question of if the F-35 was needed at all) - that was just an EXTRA engine.

So, the cuts will come from domestic spending on things like infrastructure, education, EPA, CDC, etc

These are people, who believe in the virtue of selfishness and deplore and resist all forms of socialism and government. They see the only valid business of government is military and prisons. Everything else should be privatized. Add to that blatant racism that sees tax money going to non-whites as an outrage. It is impossible to persuade the Ayn Randers that unrelenting greed is a serious character flaw.

In another thread here, a Republican gubernatorial candidate blamed Mississippi's problems on black people. The truth is that the white people who run Mississippi and many other states won't spend any public money on anything because they don't want to share.

Racism is the root cause of our country's problems.

It's easy to talk about revolution. It's easy to be a keyboard warrior and show up for marches and protests. Then what? You want to put the military in charge?

Where are you going to plug in your phone if the infrastructure collapses?

you seem to jump to conclusions. I will say this country was started with a revolution, but revolution as then, would be a suicide mission. These weekend warrior groups/ militia groups have ZERO chance to win against the US army, but there are other ways to create change, not just violence. The people will put them in place, and I am referring to the total retake of the Senate and house. This overt talk of the GOP destroying the country should be a referendum on the GOTV....I am very certain, that these measures will be fulfilled.

I do feel our democrat leaders now are not pushing enough to fire their base up. I want to hear them tell us what they thing of what is going on.... I want to hear them agree trump is a Russian operative and a traitor......and other things....

if they were to remain in control, what are they going to do when we hit bottom? That is, when taxes can't be lowered any more, government can't be starved of any more functions and they've drowned it in the bathtub. With no more lies to be told and no one left standing, who would they then blame? What on earth would happen to Faux News?

Where will they propose we go from there, with millions dying in the streets?

In other words, what exactly is their end game or utopia?..... .....

The plan is to grab all the riches. When the shit hits the fan, they figure to sit tight in their gilded, fortressed castles and let everything else crumble. They must be confident that their riches will let them buy their way out of trouble.

why they desire so much more of the world's assets. The people that support and fund the GOP are the wealthiest people in the world and probably control a majority of the world's liquid assets.

In my world view, a very small minority group of hyper-rich right-wingers should not have control of the people's governments.
