Alex Jones does not have a difference of opinion but is expounding and supporting hate and violence.

Alex Jones called for violence against the parents of murdered children.

He called for violence against politicians.

He called for violence against supporters for their political and social views.

He called for violence against the LGBTQ.

Alex Jones does not deserve a public platform.

Alex Jones deserves to be in jail.

While I don’t subscribe to the “everyone is watching us” conspiracy theory, I do agree that alternative forms of social media and communications should be used.

Let’s not forgot though, platforms like Facebook and Twitter used to be the alternative but once they became popular and started getting heavy traffic, money and politics got involved.

It says a lot more about us as a society than it does about the platforms themselves. We have to decide what really matters to us.

Alex Jones engaged in behavior that is not protected by the first amendment and hurt many people in the process. Parents of slain Sandy Hook children had to move and go incognito because of the harassment they received. Sorry, but that asshole should have been banned and sued into oblivion years ago. I'm just glad it's finally happening now, even if it is long overdue.

AS long as we have people like this arguing for voices which seek to utterly destroy us, we will have trouble prevailing.

Newsflash: this is not politics as usual. We are in an existential crisis. The normal lefty railing against the "man" even when the man is attacking our enemies is vacuous bullshit.

WE are in a war. At his point, WINNING is what matters. Nothing else matters. The bad guys understand this and we need to as well or face our doom.
