the government alerts on my phone for Thursday. I did disable the Amber Alerts and that seems to have stopped them coming in at all odd hours.

It's MY phone, I bought it with MY money and I pay my monthly bill with MY money. Why should I have to be forced to accept texts that I do not want ?

Especially from a man who has less than passing familiarity with the truth.

I live in a coastal place, with high winds, Tsunamis, earthquakes and the occasional volcanic eruption. We get radio, telly and text reports for our safety. These are the ONLY texts that should be mandatory.

Trump is a Republican.

Invasion of privacy, all will be just fine.
If not, I suspect apple and android are gonna get an earfull.
And if THAT doesn't work, I throw this bitch away and cancel my plan. A few billion in lost cell plan revenues next month and the phone companies will start suing his ass.
