I was just at a wedding where we were introduced, for the first time, to a male relative who had tagged along with his brother, who was given the formal invitation. From the gate of meeting him he was full of slurpy compliments. "Oh, you're so lovely. You're so beautiful. You're perfect."

The flag went up and I was about to excuse myself when the invited brother asked me if I hated him for his politics. I told him that he was a nice person, but I would fight him tooth and nail on his politics. He referred to his autobiography where he wrote about growing up poor, and looked down upon by his relatives. I can tell you that even when he made it big when he began to purchase property in New York City, that didn't change. They would refer to him as the slum lord. Certainly, he is a millionaire many times over.

In turn, I told him about the kind of Republican that I know very well. People who graduate from well-to-do colleges, where they rubbed elbows with students who came from money. They grew accustom to that culture and expected that their social networks would always keep them well employed in profitable jobs, without ever having to send out one resume. And when that failed, they turn bitter and blame everyone else for their lack of success. Worse, when it comes to getting their nails dirty they tend to reach out to their friends that show some DIY aptitude, instead of learning to do things for themselves.

The next morning at breakfast, the tag-along brother tried to hit on me again. All doubt was erased when I learned from a friend that he began to do the same thing to her daughter.

So Republicans, white males, especially the older ones, def live in a universe where suspect behavior is to be expected.

Otherwise known as the Little Hoyas is an all boys day school in Bethesda Maryland. I am slightly older than Judge Kavanaugh but I have seen his type during my bar days in Georgetown in the 1980s. His type was arrogant and looked down at others and was always on the prowl for some drunk girls. Back in the day the wealthy kids went to Dewey or Rehobeth Beach for beach week while us middle class kids went to Ocean City Maryland. This was before the drinking age went to 21. Guys like him always had someone to cover for them usually it was the dad and the explanation was always boys will be boys.

If you want to see just how bad these guys can get look up the murder of UVA student Yardley Love. Her ex boyfriend George Hughley was one of those privileged Chevy Chase kids who abused alcohol and his girl friends. His father basically gave him a pass on all his bad behavior.

I grew up in Northern Virginia and I knew alot of people who ran in those circles in the 80s and I can guarantee you there are more women out there that he mistreated.

UVa Lacrosse Isn't Taking Any More Chances

Odd coincidence: I briefly lived directly across the street from where the murder would took place, years after I had moved on.

I could tell by looking at him and now the proof is coming out. We will never stop harassing him until he is ejected into oblivion.

Georgetown Prep had its own slang. "Boofed" meant "buttf**ked. "Bart" on Mike Judge's page was Kavanaugh...so "Bart have you boofed yet" was some joke between them.

I was class of 84 at a Catholic HS in DC. Wendy Whitney was a fox who went to catholic school they all thought was a babe. I did not know him at all but I know the culture. Major binge drinking starts in 9th grade. I went to huge homes in Potomac MD and hundreds of HS school kids had the house to themselves for huge keg parties. I knew another one of his school mates from Georgetown prep from a well known political family. I had a tremendous crush on him but dated his friend. One time has asked me out on a date. I thought it was the best thing that ever happened to me. He took me to a movie theater and we ran into relatives of his. He then avoided the movies and ushered me to a wooded area close by and made out and groped me and went to 3rd base. He dropped me off cooly and I never heard from him again.
