I dropped my old barber as he is a magat. So a woman my wife works with suggested this woman who has a beauty salon. And she is definitely worth it Id sooner support democratic businesses than those who vote for kgop. And I have gone back to short hair after decades of ponytail and long hair. And do we bitch about this administration and his enabling gop.

(6,856 posts)Going to get a mammogram from a company that charges 50.00 during October. My insurance pays 100% but I would rather go somewhere that gives poor women a chance, unlike the current doctor who opposes Obamacare. (Thanks to Obamacare, these doctors get paid 100% by insurance for mammograms and she must know this saves lives). Funny I learned about the new place from my hairdresser who has no insurance and we have no Medicaid expansion. Shes a dem. I dont know if new clinic is composed of RWrs or not, but they showed heart for at least one month out of the year. I will take it.

She said she often has to listen to others in the shop (mostly older women) or even someone she's working on, praising Dumpy and his agenda, and it's hard to hear that and stay sane when you've got sharp objects in your hand! LOL.
I am glad you found a good barber too, TEB

(81,466 posts)Consequences. Sometimes theyre a good thing. Sometimes theyre well-earned and deserved.
My apologies for feeling gleeful when a trumpster finds him/herself having to pay a price because they voted for this well-documented and openly disgraceful piece of shit. It was CLEAR and OBVIOUS who and what this disgusting vainglorious moron was. And STILL is. And they were WARNED! WELL ahead of time! And they STILL went ahead and voted for him. So they can just suck it up now. And if they reap what they sow, in their own personal experience - if it costs them friends, lovers, customers, partners, investors, jobs, whatever, well, sometimes, perhaps, bad decisions can yield bad results.

When I'm in the chair, he talks the right-winger line. He is obviously just trying to provoke a conversation. He is always very calm and respectful - just asking questions.
Although I know what he's doing, I still enjoy the conversation. Given that his waiting area is always full, so must a lot of other guys.
