Wouldn't it have been nice not to have WASTED the filibuster on Gorsuch now?

Just saying. I was one of the few who thought it was foolish and a waste. Just let them get to 60 votes. But NOW!?! Less then 50 days before the midterm with someone accused of attempted rape? Now it would be useful.

They did away with the filibuster and it didn't stop Gorsuch, why would it stop this nomination?

If he's stopped, apparently it will be because he's a blithering idiot who didn't learn to not attempt to rape people.

...they would just have done the same thing and killed the filibuster this time. It would never have made a difference.

Dems had rolled over on Gorsuch, you are utterly delusional.

Mitch McConnell and Chuck Grassley and every other GOP Senator will overturn every precedent and rule to get the outcome they want at any given moment on any given issue, regardless of the historical value of the precedent being cast aside or future risk of doing so. That has been Mitch's behavior every day he has been minority or majority leader. Wake Up.
