I thought I saw/read something about most of those 65 women withdrawing their support?

The 65 women who instantly showed up to support Kavanaugh. Did they or did I misread it?

That was a mysterious situation and I was hoping it was just random Republican women and not those in the know.

Two affirmed their support. Two declined to comment. Around 2 dozen didn't respond immediately, and no word on the other 40-ish women.

The caption implied 63 had withidrawn their support, and only 2 held firm.

I was hoping someone would tackle the job of tracking down at least 10 of those names (maiden) and check closely about whether or not they actually volunteered or filled out a form just to support a Republican, no matter what the crime was. It just seems it is more important to the Republicans to lie if they have to than stand up for the truth.

I guess I've seen so much lying in this administration above and beyond the usual that I wouldn't trust anything they had to say...particularly regarding any criminal activity of one of their members.

another five refused to comment when reached. And the remaining signees haven't been reached or haven't responded. There is no indication that any of them have expressly reversed their position.

on his show tonight. Earlier, another MSNBC reporter said she had contacted most, if not all, of the women who signed the letter and only 2 were willing to confirm they support him.
