For the past several months, President Donald Trump has been hyping a supposed “red wave” that’s coming that will sweep all elected Democrats out of office — and it seems the president’s supporters are buying it.

Bloomberg has gotten hold of a leaked internal RNC poll that shows many Trump supporters aren’t going to bother voting in the upcoming midterm elections because they don’t believe there’s any danger that the GOP will lose control of Congress.

It's great for the moment if it's true. I love the idea also.

But delusions created by Trump can be erased and replaced with anxiety and anger. Those people listen to him and believe.

It's some among the other half of conservatives who've left the Republican Party who we have to hope will remain too disillusioned and demoralized to vote.
