Sooooo, basically Benedict Donald doesn't want Kavanaugh to lie to the FBI.

I'm thinking Trump understands the consequences of lying to the FBI now and doesn't want Kavanaugh to go to jail.

2nd thing, Why hasn't Kavanaugh volunteered to talk to the FBI himself ?!!?

Seems like Kavanaugh is running, he's already a damn liar ...

Grassley already made a statement as well as Lindsay Graham. Graham said the vote will be next Wednesday.

We'll see if public pressure makes any difference, but they are desperate to get Kavanaugh confirmed.

But they might not have time to get a decent nominee to replace Kavanaugh and get them seated before the mid terms. The repubs want a conservative judge in case they lose the senate. So they really, really want this done.
