I don't think he would be foolish enough to fire Jeff Sessions between now and Monday? That would be too much of a gamble, even for him.
But, what would happen if Mueller indicts Jared or Don Jr for the Trump Tower meeting with the Russians and Donald is incriminated, per the testimony of Paul Manafort??
Would they still continue with the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh?
Or would that be a serious enough issue to delay the nomination?
These are very unpredictable times.

I could see them dropping him only if he stopped their agenda.
