Mark Geragos, the attorney for Colin Kaepernick, suggests two teams could possibly be interested in signing the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback, per TMZ.
Kaepernick was the first NFL player to begin kneeling during the National Anthem as a form of silent protest against police brutality against minorities. He gradually earned support from teams around the league, leading to a public debate that even got President Donald Trump involved.
Denver Broncos general manager John Elway said back in mid-August that he would not consider signing Kaepernick after the team failed to bring in the quarterback as part of a trade with the 49ers in 2016. His statements did not disprove Kaepernick's claim of being "blackballed" once he became a free agent in 2017.
"You know what, and I said this a while ago: Colin had his chance to be here. We offered him a contract. He didn't take it," Elway said. "As I said in my deposition ... he's had his chance to be here. He passed it."
Kaepernick's silent protest grew so prominent and controversial in 2017 that the NFL initially announced a new league rule telling players to either stand for the anthem or stay in the locker room or risk their team being fined by the league. That rule was later rescinded as league officials began negotiations with the NFLPA over a new policy.
ESPN announced on Aug. 17 that they would not be airing the national anthem during any of their broadcast for the 2018 season.

I find it hard to believe that Ultra-Conservative Elway would ever offer a contract.
I also find it difficult to believe that the Patriots and their Ultra-Conservative Owner would be interested in him either. Really? To back up Brady?
Now the Raiders? That I could believe.

although he is a good friend of the Orange Menace.
And Brady needs a back up.
