Is the victim going to file a complaint? Is Howard Fineman just wishfully thinking? I will believe it when it happens.

I cannot see how they can confirm him while such an investigation is going on.

Grassley had his chance to have the FBI do it and took a pass.

A crime is alleged to have been committed credibly with a passed lie detector test, therapists notes in 2012 and 2013 and other evidence like his yearbook, Yale fraternity, some indirect witnesses, etc. According to what I've read, the statute of limitations in Maryland has potentially or probably not run out on a victim who was 15 years old at the time. That victim is entitled to due process that includes law enforcement investigating that crime. Period.

In the wake of apparent perjury on torture, stolen Democrat emails, Judge Pickering, some weird facts surrounding $200,000 in credit card debt disappearing, etc, this confirmation for a lifetime appointment to the highest position in the judicial system should not be rushed. The stench of them trying to do so is overwhelming.
