Please. It's "eleven Republican men," not "eleven white men" in the Judiciary Committee majority.

I've probably heard or read commentators from our side screw this up about four times now, so I thought it worth a comment. The Judiciary Committee majority who are sneakily and unethically trying to save Kavanaugh (and stifle and subvert Blasey) are doing it because they are Republican, not because they are white. It's rather stupid to use the term "eleven white men." It alienates white men and women for one thing. That's dumb and kind of racist. But, just as importantly, it fails to include the word "Republican" so people will be reminded who the bad guys were when it comes time to vote in November.

But I agree that it's important to include the word "republican."

it emphasizes the lack of women of any color and the lack of people of any color but white.

Let's not forget the repug party is 95% white and dominated by white men who are comfortable with racists, pedophiles, sexual abusers and misogynists.

So let's not soft peddle reality.

The main problem with the bozos in the Judiciary Committee is that they are Republicans.

As to their misogamy

Iowa Senator Orrin Hatch (R)

Hatch has said that Ford must be "confused" or "mixed up" about her encounter with Kavanaugh in high school, and has argued that even if her allegations were "true" they shouldn't have any bearing on senators' decision to confirm Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court.

Another words, she is crazy.

Texas Senator John Cornyn (R)

Like Hatch, Cornyn, the Senate Majority Whip, has suggested that Ford may not be remembering her encounter with Kavanaugh correctly, arguing there are "gaps" in her recollection.
"We don’t know what happened 36 years ago, and there are gaps in her memory,” Cornyn told reporters on Tuesday, according to Vox. “She doesn’t know how she got there, when it was, and so that would logically be something where she would get questioned.”

So, Cornie, you made this decision before hearing her testimony?

South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham (R)

"I don’t know when she took the polygraph," Graham later said, referring to a lie detector test Ford's lawyer says was administered to her by an FBI agent. "I don’t know who paid for it. I don’t know when she hired the lawyer.

"But if you didn’t want to go public why are you buying a polygraph and why are you hiring a lawyer?" he added. "All those things will come out.”

Buying a polygraph? Oh Lindsey, not nice. You intimate that she lied nad bought and paid for her test. Sooo, you prejudging her and called her a liar?
