Back in 1991, we had serious questions about Clarence Thomas, and his competence.
In fact, he sounded like total moron testifying before the Senate.
Then came Anita Hill, and the whole thing became the "he said, she said" sex scandal, on nearly all the news media.
Clarence Thomas in the subsequent years showed his lack of competence on the bench.
Now, it's almost the same with Kavanaugh.
We have serious questions about his competence, and add to it his willingness to kiss up to right-wing groups on important issues.
BUT...
"Here we go again..."
Sex! Sex! Sex!
And the pre-sex scandal questioning is being forgotten.
Including Kavanugh's habit of commiting PERJURY.

(101 posts)Even before Dr. Fords accusation of sexual assault against Brett Kavanaugh, there have been more than enough reasons to reject his confirmation to SC. Here are just a few off the top of my head:
1) Credible accusations Kavanaugh lied at last two confirmation hearings.
2) Credible accusations that Kavanaugh misrepresented his judicial record.
3) Kavanaugh has a history of excessive drinking (including UNDERAGE drinking).
4) Kavanaugh has a history of very large gambling debts.
5) Kavanaugh has a questionable financial history re: very large mortgage, gambling debts suddenly getting paid off, etc.
6) Very curious: A Go-Daddy website called The http://confirmkavanaugh.com domain was purchased last year on February 2, 2017, long before he was nominated by Trump.
Who knows what else will come up or what else the Republicans are trying to cover up.
