Could we use words like "courage" or "guts"

instead of "balls"?

I am female and have no balls, but lots of courage. Don the Con has testes but no courage.

How much guts or courage you have is independent of your reproductive organs and reading over and over "he doesn't have the balls..." gets old.

Thank you for your consideration.

Definitely. Referring to anatomy that way is just vulgar. HeartachesNhangovers Sep 2018 #5
Thank you. I sure get tired of reading that, over and over. Mister Ed Sep 2018 #6

In this instance, I think "spine" is the best choice. "Guts" is ok, too.

Ever tried to give balls a pounding? They can't take it.

Yup, let's use words like courage, fortitude, guts...

It's just a male dominance thing and it needs to go. Same with steel ovaries. I mean, c'mon. The English language is rich; why not use it?

Courage, Fortitude, Strength, Bravery, Grit.

Fearless, Resolved, Heroic, or just plain Gutsy.
