My conspiracy theory is that he is being blackmailed, nothing he can do about it as he watches his "legacy" bite the dust. His place in history will not be kind.

For every action there is a corresponding response/action. With the tax cut and jobs bill of 2018 this sent out a clear signal that the repugs are not for us, but for them (the donors, or the ultra rich who support not paying a fair share of taxes). As Warren Buffet said before, it's pretty bad that his secretary pays more as a % of taxes than he does. When will this deceit end on the American people?
