I think at least 2 of the 3 are leaning no because if they weren't, McConnell would have held the vote already.

But if Flake votes no in Committee, McConnell might change his mind.

You have to figure in the "Manchin Siding With The Republicans At Every Turn" factor.

Position in Senate improves ( unfortunately likely). There's got to be another reason to rush. Either they are all worried trump will get impeached? Na...Pence would give them someone good. Improving their chances in November? Na...none of these R's are vulnerable are they?

Otherwise I'd say there's a good chance Flake holds it up at least until after the hearings, although I'm aware he's also a wet noodle.

Do that. Collins said yesterday there were 7 Republicans on the fence.

-45 said again that this needed to be rushed. We know trump's pardon prospects - his kids and cronies would benefit if the SC overturns state/fed dual prosecution...but what about the other Senate creeps who are supporting that rush? What are their motivations.

Like why is Hatch involved with the push to overturn?

It just seems like it will support the narrative of tone deaf old white dudes who hate women. Or I should say, lend credence to the truth.

Sometimes I think Mitch ain't the brightest bulb although he's certainly quite stubborn.

to hurry...and knows it's all a trump protecting trump move? And he will just push for a vote and let chips fall where they may?
