In the American justice system there is an important thing called jurisdiction.

Any law enforcement agency, from a small town PD all the way up to the FBI, can only act upon things they have jurisdiction over.

There are two primary factors determining jurisdiction.

First is location. The FBI has it in the entire USA, while a local PD only within that municipal boundary.

Second is that it must be a violation of a law that agency is empowered to act on. Fire example if someone makes a straw purchase of a firearm that is a violation of a federal law, the local PD in the town where it happened has no jurisdiction to investigate or arrest for it even if it happened in their presence.

That is where the FBI lacks jurisdiction- the alleged crimes are violations of state and local law, not federal. The FBI can’t just investigate them on a whim.

All the FBI can do is reopen the background check. And all that would do is have them interview her and witness, put it in a file, and turn that file over to the White House. That’s it.

They always welcome anything that helps them sell their propaganda,their lies , and would be screaming for one if it were all true and in their best interests, which its not, because they're lying through their teeth about it all. So him claiming he has integrity is nonsense because he doesn't, and is a serial liar and corrupt. That's why they are scared to death of a FBI investigation, because it will find it all out. The press will find it all anyway and make them look even worse , and drive many more away from voting for them again. Its over for kavanaugh except for the violin music on his way out the door. trump and the kgop have hurt themselves badly with him as their nominee , and it will incite many more against them this upcoming election.

Of course they don't want the FBI to point them out, the KGB has already done so.
