I still can't pin it down. There's just something linking the Ledeens, Kavanaugh, Flynn and Russia

Flynn ally sought help from 'dark web' in covert Clinton email investigation

Barbara Ledeen, a staffer on the committee looking into Trump’s Russia ties and a friend of Mike Flynn, tried to launch her own investigation into Clinton’s emails

Kavanaugh did find in favor of Trump Org on a NLRB case (and similarly for Adelson)

Those credit card debts and affording multiple country club memberships and a near million dollar mortgage and private schools and ...

And that all disappeared in 2017. The year he’s nominated

Wonder if Cohen knows anything about it

it isn't one bit different than it's ever been. This shit started to gel way back even before Tom DeLay was Speaker....it's origins go all the back to the damned sixties.

https://www.cnbc.com/2018/08/24/trump-paid-michael-cohen-more-than-what-he-stated-in-financial-disclosure.html

In May, Trump signed a financial disclosure form that stated he "fully reimbursed" personal attorney Michael Cohen between $100,001 and $250,000 in 2017.

But documents filed by federal prosecutors Tuesday stated that Cohen received $420,000 from the Trump Organization over the course of last year.

That would cover the payments to Stormy Daniels and Karen MacDougal eh? Even with the “extra” tossed in for “taxes”, there would still be over $100,000 or so unaccounted for.

Kavanaugh had $65,000-$200,000 in credit card debt that magically disappeared sometime in 2017.

Could this be that extra money that made its way to Cohen?

Why you would ever get that feeling.

Big donor to Trump campaign made overture to top Russian official, boasting of connections

The businessman, Simon Kukes, a Houston-based oil executive, sent an email to the official in Moscow in July 2016, boasting of his connections to the Trump campaign and requesting a face-to-face meeting.

“I have been actively involved in Trump’s election campaign, and am part of the group on strategy development,” Kukes wrote in the email to Vyacheslav Pavlovsky, vice president of the state-owned Russian Railways and a former Russian ambassador to Norway. “I will be in Switzerland July 20th till August 2nd. Let me know how you are doing, and whether you want to meet.”

George Papadopoulos: Ex-Trump adviser jailed in Russia inquiry
A pre-sentencing statement last week read: "While some in the room rebuffed George's offer, Mr Trump nodded with approval and deferred to Mr Sessions, who appeared to like the idea and stated that the campaign should look into it."

Papadopoulos told CNN in an interview aired on Friday that Mr Trump "gave me a sort of a nod" and "wasn't committed either way" about the idea of a meeting with the Russian leader.

But he said then-senator and now-Attorney General Jeff Sessions "was actually enthusiastic". Last November, Mr Sessions testified to Congress that he had "pushed back" against Papadopoulos' offer.

Manafort is flipping on Trump: Here’s what prosecutors want to know
The plea deal, which includes a 17-page cooperation agreement, marks another victory for Mueller’s probe into Russia’s interference in the 2016 election and contacts with the Trump campaign. Manafort was previously convicted on tax and bank fraud charges in a separate trial last month. Given Manafort’s long-held ties to pro-Russian oligarchs and their associates in Ukraine, he’s likely to have considerable insight into any ties between the Trump campaign and the Kremlin.
