Coming from him, his second set was especially hollow, with his message of "coming together", IMO. That number may have worked with a different performer, not him.

I suppose he's getting great reviews because he's Kanye but it's pretty painful to listen to.

Used to appreciate his beats back before he became a brand and a big name. When he wasn’t even rapping on records he was pretty talented.

Just watched that weird ass performance on SNL and I said to my uncle that he’s basically just the musical and commercial equivalent of caviar now.

He has people convinced his fashion brand is worth high prices because it has cache as ‘ Aquired Taste’ and because a t shirt costs $$$ rubes actually buy it: this is how he relates to Trump I think. He actively has a kind of disdain for his fans too - but he needs them to stay relevant.

in 2008 and thought it was one of the best concerts I’ve ever been to. He stood on stage in a sweater and jeans with holographic flying asteroids and spinning planets and ended his set with “Don’t Stop Believin “ by Journey. I thought it was superb. It saddens me.

I never liked his music. I saw him on SNL when he was a guest the first time. I was curious about him because he had just said that Bush did not care about black people. That remark had gotten a lot of attention. I watched and listened then, and decided that he had no talent. My opinion has not changed.
