(23,946 posts)The contradiction is in saying it is a booming economy and then saying the main trade agreement during this time is doing harm to that economy? Holy opposites, Batman!
Do you know America exports more goods to Canada than China, Germany, Mexico and Japan combined... and 32 states have Canada as its chief trading partner...just found that out.
You can sell Canada a few more jugs of milk and some eggs and call that a win if you like, just to be polite.
And you need not mention America exports more dairy products to Canada than it imports.
The real problem is American dairy farms are pumping out more dairy than Americans can possibly consume.
