McConnell says only senators will see FBI's Kavanaugh report

I'm in favor of this so long as only Senators are affected by any rulings Kavanaugh makes:

From the Hill:

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) said on Tuesday that only senators will see the FBI's report on its investigation into the sexual assault allegations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.

"We'll get an FBI report soon. It will be made available to each senator and only senators will be allowed to look at it," McConnell told reporters.

He added, "that's the way these reports are always handled."

Kind of makes you wonder what McConnell is trying to hide. Not to mention the big chunk of Kavanaugh's record currently under wraps as "committee confidential," and the even larger chunk of his record withheld by the White House under the rubric of executive privilege. Republicans sure don't want the American people knowing too much about Judge Kreepazoid, do they?

Suppose they make a slight change to each Senator's report so they will know which one was leaked. It could be as simple as the placement of a comma, an extra space somewhere, etc. A few Senators should compare their reports and make sure they are exactly identical before leaking.

FBI background check reports are always confidential, available to only the senators and cleared staff.
