Call your local Dem Party headquarters and volunteer to make GOTV phone calls, door knocking, literature distributions, driving people to the polls, etc. I have done it many times and it makes a difference.

investigation of Feinstein, probably a skirmish somewhere, probably an announcement of another meeting with Kim, probably some more fake economy claims, probably more punching down at women/immigrants/people of color/LGBTQ, maybe some fabricated Clinton scandal news, maybe a fake planted accuser or two, maybe more fake suspicious substance claims....

...there is no low bar for them, therefore they have unlimited possibilities.

Someone from Tennessee posted that Bredesen will win the senate race unless Kavanaugh is not confirmed. He wrote matter of factly that Tennesseans are co concerned about a conservative senate that people who plan to vote for Bredesen now would switch to Blackburn.

Pitching the midterms on Kavanaugh would be suicide.

Especially with president shit for brains stirring the pot.

Maybe I didn't read the OP fully, or make the point from Predictit properly.

Kavanaugh would no longer be involved. The argument on Predicit was that Kavanaugh is pulled or defeated, and then Trump campaigns until November with emphasis to his base that unless you vote for Republicans then they'll lose the senate and not be able to dictate the next justice, or lower court justices.

They won't take that risk but it is seemingly more effective than any other argument on that side, to motivate the base

wouldn't be surprised if they hired Rove and exhumed Lee Atwater to help forge, smear, lie, foment hate, encourage polarization, come up with new groups to demonize, and shock doctrine their way past the midterms.

We think we've seen horrifying things...and we have. But they are just getting started. Wait till the firings, pardons, fake investigations of dems, payoffs, fake wars, fake economy reports, subpoena refusals, vote fraud, and voter suppression gears get going. They wanted Kavanaugh for those things but they will proceed without him if need be. They have Ryan, Nunes, McConnell, Graham, Grassley, and Fox. Might be enough.

This is it. The fork in the road.

They are deep in the system. Not sure how much hope there is of our saving it but this election is the best shot we may ever have again.
