(8,311 posts)Yes, I know it was the metaphorical equivalent of smoking crack to hope Manchin was posturing in order to be the deciding vote and vote against confirmation, and encourage that Senator go to the wedding thinking it was in the bag. It'd be considered dirty pool, even though I can't say the Rs don't deserve some.
