Honestly, all this happy talk about Kav not being confirmed has been ridiculous and almost painfully naive. They had the numbers. Thats literally as simple as it gets.

(8,283 posts)I don't see how he won't be confirmed. Even if closeted-Republican Joe Manchin switches his vote, we're still at 50/50. Mike Pence will break the tie in favor of Brett Kavanaugh.
If he's not confirmed, I'll believe it when I see it.

The SCOTIS was on the ballot in 2016. Stein voters and sanders voters who stayed home are the reason why we are here.
Math is math. The GOP has the voted
