Oddly enough, it wasn't complete doom and gloom. So I'm recommending it. I listened to it at 6 a.m. this morning and it only made me more determined to work for success in November.

(46,166 posts)But when T descended riding that golden escalator I told my husband that he was going to win the election. Hubby and I both grew up in Queens. Didn't know the Trumps but daddy T grew up in my neighborhood. So we knew of them. T's cunning was going to help him succeed. How long he can last is in open question.

(46,166 posts)I'm going to listen to it right now. I haven't had the tv on at all today. So I started reading The Apprentice earlier and then took a break for supper. It'll be good to have something to listen to in the background.
It's a political day today but at least on my own terms.

(46,166 posts)When he talks about Obama having two years of the House and Senate and could have accomplished anything Dems wanted I saw a different picture. It took time for Franken to be seated and there was so much going on with the crash plus Republican's skillful obstruction made some things impossible.
Well, anyway, I don't agree with Frank all the way. But I'll borrow his books from the library and write to him about my disagreement. But he's one of the good guys who understands fly-over country.
