Donald Trump's Approval Rating Dropped in Every State

President Donald Trump's approval rating has dropped in every state since he was inaugurated, and in three states it fell from at least 50 percent to majority disapproval, according to a new poll.

Trump saw the biggest loss in Utah, where about 58 percent of residents approved of him when he took office, and now 50 percent disapprove of his job performance and just 45 percent continue to support him, a Morning Consult poll on the 50 states updated last Thursday shows.

“Trump’s presidency has been largely about what people are willing to overlook for what they think is most important,” Jason Perry, director of the University of Utah’s Hinckley Institute of Politics, told the Salt Lake Tribune on Monday.

“Right now we are seeing that even with a conservative Supreme Court nominee, new trade deals and the lowest unemployment rate in 50 years, the balance has shifted in the minds of many voters as they react to some of the president’s more controversial qualities,” Perry continued.

In New Mexico, Trump's 52 percent approval rating in January 2017 sunk to 41 percent in September 2018 and his disapproval rating sat at 55 percent. In Arizona, the president's 55 percent approval rating when he entered office fell to 47 percent last month and his disapproval rating was at 50 percent.

4. The mystery to me is how the heck Trump still has 45% of people supporting him.

Plus, Ford is laying off 25,000 of its 200,000 labor force due to tariffs. That's just the latest.

Back in the 1970s the Republicans figured out that the votes of stupid people count just as much as the votes of smart people. They hired some very smart behavioral scientists (the same ones the advertising industry used) to study low IQ people to determine which issues motivate them. They then pretended to "adopt" and "support" those issues. They've manipulated those "useful idiots" ever since. Their goal, stealing the wealth of the nation, has remained unchanged. And that is the gist of the whole fucking thing and, the shit we are in.

Post Script: And we better god damn well start realizing this because that is EXACTLY what the Nazis figured out, and did with that information, in the 20s and 30s. They took it to the under educated and low IQ, pissed-off masses in the beer halls. Just like today.

That's a well researched, well documented fact. Their research revealed that there were MANY people that literally knew nothing about virtually anything. Just like those late night talk show hosts going out on the street and asking people simple questions like "How many people are on the Supreme Court?", "Who's side was Germany on in WWII?", "Who was President before Bill Clinton?", "Who is the Governor of your State?", "How many branches of government are there?". And many, don't have a fucking clue! Those people! And if your don't know anything to begin with, you're liable to believe anything, right? That's what they figured out. And it's working like a charm as far as I can see.

Min Wage as an example. We want to raise. Even stupid people would understand that they made 10/hr...and we want then to make $15/hr. And Republicans don't want that.

How on Earth can we lose people? Just that we cant convey? have not hired expert PR stategists? It sounds so easy. Perhaps we cave at whatever the GOP spins that good thing into?

They just switch gears then and spin it as "All the lazy (Fill in the blank: Black, Latino, Illegal, etc.) people want $15/hr for doing nothing. Hard working white people are going to have to pay for it! Are you going to stand for these welfare loafers stealing your hard earned money?" See how I did that?. You won't buy it but, stupid people that know nothing to begin with will. And there are millions and millions of them.

realize that their plan works because these low-info people hear what the right's propagandist's spew and take it completely at face value. Because they will never research for alternative ideas or for the truth. That works like a charm.

In addition, I believe in the generalization that the right cares about people they know and the left cares about people they don't know. I have seen this since I have moved south to central TX. A very common occurrence on email or Facebook: "So and so's cousin had a car wreck and is out of work can you chip in to help them?" And people contribute in droves. Never requests for helping ALL the poor people they don't know.

to try to wreck it in other states as well with that DeVos woman. Can't wait to get to Nov. 6 for so many reasons. Wasn't it in WWII that planes were flown over Germany that dropped leaflets of information. Maybe we ought to do that in areas of this country with nothing but R-Wing radio.

What we are all about can not be conveyed in bullet points on paper. I miss the oratory that made me more of a bleeding heart liberal than I already was through family and DNA. Mario Cuomo, Ted Kennedy, etc.

Somewhere along the way, our candidates got scared to be like that. Even Obama's oratory about getting along.. wasn't quite as effective as someone making you cry over starving children.
