I love west Texas. When we traveled through on the way home to Colorado we stayed in West Tx and there's something about that wide open, windy, kind of empty landscape that appeals to me.

The politics is but I'm drawn to the area. Go figure!

I have made the trip from CO, through west TX, down to Arlington many, many times. I know what you mean. However, south west TX is much better. If you haven't been to Big Bend, I highly recommend it!

West Tx is kind of like Hud country. Never thought I'd feel that atmosphere for real. But there it was.
