When I see him at the Yale game this Saturday I'm going to tell him to get an absentee ballot from his town to make sure this won't happen again. He never knows when he's gonna be ill but he's a good strong Dem and union guy. Maybe I'll find out the details online to make it easier for him.
We both feel bad for him. He's all alone.

He was hoping to be able to drive to our house (he's recovering from spinal surgery).
He has a home health aide who also drives him. So he's got transportation available.

(63,912 posts)4. I voted absentee ballot in our primary (strangely it was in August and I was going to be away).
I had to go down to City Hall and vote there. Hubby drove me and waited in the car (very limited parking there).
