Niki Haley: may have resigned because...

Sessions will be fired or forced to quit.
Lindsey Graham will probably be the replacement AG
Niki Haley wants to take his place as Senator for SC.
SC governor is from the corrupt party and would appoint her.

Heard this possible chain on the radio.

What she supported as Trump's UN ambassador was completely contemptible and universally despised, including notably the many millions of women hurt by changes of policies. Her anti- human rights and anti- women record is going to be a huge problem if she wants to draw any but strongly conservative women.

Women's rights are human rights. ~ Hillary Clinton

Both executive and legislative experience. We used to expect our Presidents to actually have served in positions of public trust.

You know like Senator and Secretary of State...

Trump is an insane anomaly. The only thing that comes to mind would be Grant who, while was a great, had little to recommend him for a position of executive responsibility (total failure outside of military, and, until he caught on in Tennessee had a shaky military career). If Taylor had not died, he might have been in the same situation even though he did run a large plantation.

But, when he was governor, wasn't NY the biggest state?
On Edit: also, it does indicate a downward slide. Marginally qualified Ronnie, Palin for VP, then "it".
Bad, worse, worst!

Plus, then he would no longer be IN the Senate.

I don't see the logic in announcing leaving except in light of her distancing herself from Trump while remaining in his good graces while pursuing more lucrative options where she can get out of debt and pull in a few million for a couple of years before she resumes high profile political opportunities.

Trump convinces Graham he'll get the AG job after the election.
Graham does a 180, and firmly attaches his lips to Trump's ass, and makes an utter fool of himself in the process.
Trump tells Haley that when the Senate seat opens up, his good pal, Henry McMaster promised to name her to it.
Sessions gets fired/quits.
Trump hires someone else as AG and appoints his daughterwife to the UN job.
Graham is humiliated. Maybe Trump will even release the kompromat he has on Graham.
Graham's Senate seat does not open up for Haley.
Haley is out of the way and humiliated.
Trump sits back and laughs his ass off.

Also keep in mind that the governor's race in SC is neck-and-neck, and that McMaster might not even be Governor come January. Not to mention that McMaster is a back-stabbling slimebag, and he doesn't want Haley in his way.

Trump loves being the first to do something.

Fits her remarks.

And that positions her for running for President in 2024
