Rand Paul warns of 'assassination' peril after Kavanaugh confirmation

Following the bitterly partisan, acrimonious confirmation battle over Associate Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., warned in an interview on Tuesday that heated political rhetoric has the potential to turn deadly.

"I fear that there's going to be an assassination," Paul told a Kentucky radio show. "I really worry that somebody is going to be killed, and that those who are ratcheting up the conversation ... they have to realize they bear some responsibility if this elevates to violence."

Paul's wife, Kelley, revealed in a Breitbart News interview on Friday that she sleeps with a "loaded gun by my bed," has updated her home's security system and has "deadbolts all around my house." Kelley also wrote an op-ed published by CNN in which she called on Sen. Cory Booker, D-N.J., to tone down his rhetoric; in June, Booker called on his supporters to “get up in the face of congresspeople.”

The Kentucky senator reiterated his wife's criticism on Tuesday. "When people like Cory Booker say get up in their face ... What he doesn't realize is that for every 1,000 persons who want to get up in your face, one of them is going to be unstable enough to commit violence," Paul said.

“If she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks,” Mr. Trump said, as the crowd began to boo. He quickly added: “Although the Second Amendment people — maybe there is, I don’t know.”

You and your wife are paranoid nutjobs, just like the rest of your ilk. If you don't want to have to be afraid of people acting violent toward you, stop being assholes toward everyone.

Oh, I know! Rand Paul. I think he might be setting something up here. Watch this space. If something happens to her, he's going to blame it on the Democrats, but it's always the husband.

He knows it's the red hat crowd that's going to foment any violence, and he's just trying to preemptively deflect it onto the Democrats and liberals. It's fucking hilarious. All these years, they called us "weak", "pussies", "snowflakes", "gun grabbers", etc. Now, all of a sudden, we're a "violent, angry mob"? Which is it, assholes?

they expected someone to put a contract out on the moron by now, and they are all Dems too.

We expected a really angry person who has had their poor life destroyed by the fucking moron and GOP to go off by now. He has destroyed so many lives with his sadism over the past 2 years there must be thousands who wish he would be taken out. Then there is also Putin who could do it if he is displeased with his puppet.

causing people to bankrupt and die so I could get money from insurance and pharm companies and live high on the hog off the misery of others. If I was doing that I would want bodyguards around me everywhere I go, because you never know when you are going to run into a half crazed person your evil shilling has made destitute and left hopeless with nothing to live for except revenge. Worrying about it is baggage they have earned with their lifestyle, the symbolic chain they wear that they have forged, link by link, with their greed and their deeds, like Ebeneezer Scrooge.

And his neighbor did everyone a favor by kicking his punk ass.
