she's lost weight and just seems super stressed.
Gee, I hope she is well. "Thoughts and prayers"

(15,124 posts)sarcastic OP was that working in the Trump White House is hazardous to one's health and, yes, it has not been kind to Ms. Conway's appearance.
Your scolding post is exactly the type of clueless "liberal" outrage that Bill Maher ranted about earlier this week---and I say that as a liberal. Stack all the incidents of liberal "body shaming" up against the truly cruel comments by Trump and company and there is truly no comparison. It was easy to respond to me in the way you chose but what have you done to scold Trump?
The knuckle-draggers love to mock us for being overly concerned with "political correctness", but in some instances, the citicism is valid. IMHO, this was one such instance.
Does that mean body shaming is ok if liberals do it? Of course not. But, it is also not ok to label any comment about appearance as body shaming regardless of context.

Actually go ahead and say KellyAnne Conway is too thin for her age. And go ahead and say that it's mean. It's a big tent.
(Bill Maher can eat my hat, btw.)

(102,281 posts)We "wear" our emotional outlook, well-being, and attitudes on our face (unless we are incredible actors or... sociopaths) do we not? I do believe it is revealing to what may be happening behind the scenes.

(6,798 posts)There is nothing untoward about mentioning an individuals appearance. KellyAnne has groomed herself before presenting her image to us. She must think appearance is important. I read the comments as concern about stress making her look tired and skeletal. I love that some think we are so perfect we dare not mention anothers appearance. 🤗
