Postcards to voters big turnout last night

Last night about 60 postcard writers drinking 2-for-1 local beers filled a local bar/restaurant hoping to make a difference for 3 women Congressional candidates. At least another dozen spillover writers sat outside. At one point someone got one of the candidates on FaceTime to see and be madly cheered by our crowd.

Started by a couple that just wanted to do something to help. They ordered a bunch of cheap but fun postcards online, printed up lists of 20 Dem/undecided voter addresses for each of us along with sheets of text ideas, bought stamps, pens and decorative stuff, and got the word around. Charged everybody a small amount to cover the supplies, and we ended up with boxes full of handwritten personal messages to support the candidates.
