"He proceeded to shout at me that it was a good thing that I was a woman or he would whip my ass."

The title was taken from a Facebook post of a fellow democrat here in my small Oklahoma town. She and a friend were coming from the vet and saw a man taking pictures of her car's bumper stickers. She said, in the past, she'd received positive comments, so she smiled and asked if he like what he saw. His response was the title of this post. He was very menacing, to the point that she reported him to the police, who responded; " the person was just a “grumpy old man” and that trump did win the election." She had NO bumper stickers mentioning the anal pusbag currently squatting in the White House.

This is what it has come to under this mis-administration's rule. Eventually, I fear, we will see someone killed over a bumper-sticker. Ms. Clinton recently said, "You cannot be civil with Republicans." Sadly, this is becoming more and more true. Those republicans with which one could be civil, all seem to be leaving the party, that simply backs up what Secretary Clinton was saying, IMO.

The above message came the day I went to see our democratic gubernatorial candidate, Drew Edmondson, at a local establishment, and overheard, as he introduced himself to a constituent, "Hi, I am here today to support you and your run and I am a republican. I am tired of how this state and our country is being mismanaged." I whispered to my husband, "Finally! Some of them are starting to wake the fuck up!"

I should have known that "high" wouldn't last, but it is what it is.

Morale of the story: There are those republicans who can be brought into the light, but many will not and thrive in the new darkness created by a tyrant-wannabe!

but has made the already mean bullies even worse. Now we see the worst of the worst. Didn't Keith Olberman have that at the end of his MSNBC show. "The Worse, Worser, Worst List".

I told him to go for it and leaned into him. Because if he really did it, he'd be fired and I'd never have to tolerate the blowhard again.

He was too chicken. The guy had 100 lbs on me, easily. I knew he was a chicken.

It was not part of a disagreement: He simply felt that I had been granted a piece of storage equipment that he wanted for his stuff, but didn't really need.

and noticed she was wearing a t-shirt with an Obama image next to Hair Furor's. I walked a little closer to her to read the shirt and she noticeably recoiled. The shirt read POTUS over Obama and POS over Trump. When I told her I liked her shirt she relaxed and told me not everyone she's encountered shares the same feelings and some have gone as far as cursing her in front of her children.

This is in central Fl. where the dumbasses reign supreme.

that one's license plate could be translated into an address by a like minded city official or cop. If safe to do so, maybe recording the plate of an aggressive person like that would be a good idea.

Anyone who thinks the old white guy establishment is going to fade away without a FIGHT unlike we've seen in our lifetimes is, I believe, naive.

I can think of several reasons all associated with authoritarianism. It's a very aggressive act in this context. What's he going to do, report it to the Gestapo?

Having and carrying firearms is still not for me. If people have to keep firearms at home or even carry them because of Branch Trumpvidian threats towards them or their families then I'm not going to judge them.
