Midterms outlook: 77% of democrats say they are "very motivated" to turn out

From PoliticusUSA in no particular order
More than 3 in 4 Democrats (77 percent) say they are “very motivated” to turn out and vote in the midterms

The Republican Kavanaugh Bump Is Gone

It was strongly suspected that the Kavanaugh bump for Republicans was driven the confirmation fight itself, and no motivation to vote in November. I thought that it might take a couple of weeks for the Kavanaugh bump to evaporate in the polls, but it had only taken a few days before new polling showed Democrats returning to their double-digit generic ballot lead.

Confirming Kavanaugh Only Made Democrats Angrier

Democrats have been angry since the day after the 2016 presidential election, but Republicans sent their anger into the stratosphere with the way they treated the women who accused Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault, and the sham Supreme Court nominee confirmation process that they rammed through the Senate.

According to a new poll, the Senate confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court is going sink Republicans, not save them.

some of that unmotivated 23% into voting this November. They didn’t even know there was an election. Yes, they are Democrats but don’t pay attention at all to current events. Sad, I know. But at least I talked them into voting!

But, it did add this tasty nugget.

Who would you vote for today?

As of Oct. 07 ,2018, 48 percent of Americans said they would vote for a Democrat if a congressional election were held in their district today, while 38 percent would support a Republican. - Politico
