You know he's mad.
There are millions who love him and agree with him. They may not be mad, but they've been had. And that should scare the shit out of the rest of us. Millions of people who don't get it. Their hatred, bigotries, ignorance, and preferences about what the world should be, are blinding them to reaity.
The man is mad.
And if we get rid of him, we're stuck with the "religious" simpleton, Pence.
And if we get rid of the Pence, we're stuck with the extreme hypocrite, Paul Ryan.
At the moment, America is fucked beyond repair. Ridding ourselves of a disease just gives us a different disease.
Perhaps by election day, things will change. But the Jeezus Pence disease will still be there.
Seems we're fucked until at least 2020.

(6,931 posts)Vote early if you can. Many states allow early voting. If you can vote early, vote early and then spend election day texting, phoning and driving people to the polls.
I know I'm preaching to the converted but what the heck.

(54,437 posts)The people manipulating that crowd are not simple, just evil. Pence will do their bidding. He knows what happens to people who promise things to Putin and then don't deliver. The Russians have no more trouble locating Indiana than they do England.
The good news SHOULD be that the speakership in the House should no longer be in Republican hands beyond the first of the year.
IF, that is, the Republicans don't pull off sixty or so "surprise Republican upsets," as is their style when things don't look to be going their way.

(115,838 posts)(unfortunately a highly improbable development), Nancy Pelosi will be president. In the real world, however, if Trump is removed then Pence becomes president, and he has to appoint a VP per the 25th Amendment. If the Senate is still in the control of the GOP, whatever nutbag he chooses will be approved. There's no getting rid of Pence until 2020 unless Mueller discovers he was tangled up somehow in the Russia mess.

One of my friends was recently in Europe and many were asking him what the hell has happened to the US. How, could someone like tRump get elected.

(5,559 posts)1/3rd are on our side, good for them
1/3rd want nothing to do with us. They simply don't want what we are offering, won't willingly surrender power, and are heavily armed.
1/3rd are completely unmotivatable lumps. If the past two years can't get you to turn out to vote, then there is absolutely no hope for you.
